I'm no different than anyone else. But I believe it's worth learning about life to gain perspective. Here's a bit of mine.
It's my nature to observe things around me. I think about life and aspects of it that fascinate me.
I want to live my life to its fullest. Time is running out, and I'm aware of it. And youth is running out as well. That I can see too.
After a good couple of years of living a bit consciously, I have a little better understanding of the limits of what one can achieve and the potential of one as well.
The complexity of life can drown oneself in the void. Simplicity, on the other hand, is much more preferable. Some might say it's a fool's way of life. But who are they to say? It's not theirs.
To me, the single most important thing in life is a dream. That keeps one awake thrilled to make it a reality. But it's a double-edged sword indeed. If succeed, life becomes nothing short of a paradise. If failed, we may compare it with hell. Or we may not. Depends on the person.
For me, this blessing or curse of a dream has been in me since I was a kid. I don't know how it got there. All I remember is it was there. I knew what I had to do to make my life a paradise. But I failed miserably.
Once a dream is dead, it's dead. Or is it? That's what I ask myself. But the answer will have to wait. For all the mess I've created chasing after it all my years, I'll have to make right of it. And in the path of doing so, there's a glimmer of hope that my dream will find me.
